Haddo Arts are thrilled to welcome internationally celebrated pianist Joanna MacGregor CBE, to play Bach, Beethoven, Schumann and Piazzolla.

Joanna will also explore the Art of Piano Transcription, through an illustrated talk, as this year’s David & June Gordon Lecture.

We welcome for the first time at Haddo Festival, the professional drama group Ten Feet Tall, to give a unique performance of Chekhov’s one act play “The Proposal”, in the intimate setting of the Morning Room at Haddo House.

In the face of Covid-19, and building on the success of last year’s online Festival, all performances will be recorded at Haddo for broadcast during Festival week, 9-17 October.

There will be one event on site during Festival week: Experimental Use of Space will curate an inspiring art installation in the South Courtyard and private garden of Haddo House, on the theme of light, with a focus on 3D works.

Watch this space for details of further exciting festival events to be announced in the coming weeks. Please save the dates – 9 to 17 October!
