About Us
Haddo Arts brings a unique artistic experience to Haddo House and its environs.
Working with world-class artists and makers, with local professionals and communities, schools and other arts organisations, we aim to create a distinctive annual programme across the whole of Haddo – the House, the Hall and the Country Park – and opportunities for everyone to enjoy the arts as audiences and participants.
Since 2012 and the first Haddo Arts Festival, our projects and events have provided opportunities for:
- 290 emerging and established visual artists to exhibit their works
- Over 840 amateur, emerging and established musicians, including solo performers, orchestras and ensembles, to perform in our venues and elsewhere
- Over 1,400 primary age and 110 secondary age pupils to take part in creative workshops and schools’ music projects
In addition we have brought over 19,000 additional visitors to Haddo for our events and exhibitions. Staged 117 ticketed events and sold over 11,000 tickets mounted 11 visual arts exhibition in the spaces at Haddo. We continue to develop new projects and partnerships as we move through our second decade.
Since 2012, we have grown from an informal association to a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation. It’s been an interesting journey so far…

Haddo Arts is proud to collaborate with other local and national arts organisations who support our aspiration to deliver and encourage excellence for audiences and performers alike.
We are proud of our projects, delivered in partnership with professional artists andperformers and our local community.
Haddo Arts is run primarily by a team of multi-tasking volunteers, with professional contractors providing technical and administrative services as and when needed.
