Event information

Haddo House Choral & Operatic Society and Haddo Orchestra open the Festival with one of Handel’s finest dramatic oratorios. Composed in 1741, immediately after Messiah, the work became an instant success. Containing exhilarating choruses and some of Handel’s most famous arias, Samson has remained one of the composer’s most popular choral works.
