The Chapel at Haddo House was commissioned by the 1st Marquess and Marchioness of Aberdeen and Temair and dedicated to the service of Almighty God, free from all ecclesiastical restrictions, in 1881. Since then it has continued its ecumenical witness and in normal, i.e. pandemic-free, times services are held once a month from Easter through to October and on every Sunday in August.
