In these challenging times, when the landscape seems to be shifting almost hourly, we thought it would be a good idea to update you all on what is happening at Haddo Arts.
The Programming Team has developed an exciting outline programme for the 2020 Festival with the intention of submitting the final proposal to the Trustees in April for approval subject to funding. This will include our regular favourites plus some new ventures, such as introducing drama to the festival for the first time.
Coronavirus has the potential to impact us in many ways and we are already seeing most planned meetings cancelled. Fundraising is inevitably going to be even more difficult this year and this has the potential to limit the scale of the Festival if it goes ahead. However at this time the Trustees feel that we should carry on in the hope that things change and our Festival can go ahead in October.
Our planned programme of events outside the festival will be impacted and we will refrain from booking anything else until the situation becomes clearer.
The Trustees will monitor the situation closely and take appropriate action if necessary and we will of course update you with our plans.
Please be assured that the health of our volunteers, performers and audiences will take priority over all other considerations.
I’d like to thank you all for your continuing loyalty to Haddo Arts, stay safe and look after yourselves and your families in these uncertain times. We will keep you updated.
