One of the joys of being Haddo Arts Administrator is receiving emails from musicians who want to come and perform at Haddo, whether as part of the annual arts festival, or at other times of the year, and following the links they provide to performances of their music on their web site, YouTube or similar.
Just now, the emails are still coming but they are about how musicians and performers are putting their work out there online to help us all keep our spirits lifted. We are keen to support performers as well as provide information to you, our audiences, and will share these links on Facebook and twitter as and when they come in, plus we aim to give a round up every couple of weeks or so here on the Haddo Arts blog.
In the meantime, this just in from concert pianist Yulia Chaplina, Steinway Artist. Yulia has started a weekly newsletter with short music videos which she hopes will help us all to “stay positive in this difficult time. We all know that music is very therapeutic and provides a great boost for our mental health”. You can subscribe to her newsletter at https://www.yuliachaplina.com/coronavirus-support
