Art Exhibition

For the first time, Aberdeen Artists Society is exhibiting at Haddo, in partnership with the National Trust for Scotland.

The three elements of the exhibition complement the three areas in which it is housed.

The Mobil Room: An open exhibition, curated by Susie Hunt, of selected framed work (paintings, drawings, artists’ prints, photographs, mixed media and textiles)

The Pheasantry: Artists’ residencies where selected artists will make and show work.

Haddo House South Wing Courtyard: An exhibition of 3D work (sculpture, film, image projection, installation, textiles and sound) in a show entitled “Experimental Use of Space” (curated by Margaret Preston, Jane Hislop and Roderick Scott). The art works are set in the unique spaces in and around the amazing South courtyard of Haddo House, an area the public rarely get a chance to visit. The washroom contains a show, curated by Jane Hislop, of art work by young (under 19) artists.

Margaret Preston, Jane Hislop, Roderick Scott, Mags Grey, Kevin Morris, Susan Cassie, Mary Cane, Merlyn Riggs, Rosie Wood, Ann Craig, April Pressley, Gilyan Noble, Helen Denerley, Gerry Stott, Shelagh Brown and Hannah Halliday.
